Our Mission...

  • The Summit County Fire Chiefs’ Association shall be a source of information and education for its members. It shall uphold its members’ rights and promote a spirit of cooperation. I shall actively interface with government, public, and business sectors on issues relating to Fire, EMS, and special services within Summit County.

Announcements...

  • We had 18 members form Summit County Fire Departments put their name in to win 2 cemetery lots at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.  The lots were donated by Mrs. Betty Strasser from Akron.  The drawing was held at the Summit County Fire Chiefs meeting on 9/17/08.  The winners of the cemetery lot donations are David Riede Jr. from Cuyahoga Falls FD, Mark Miller from Twinsburg FD, Kevin Luskin from Twinsburg FD and Paul Nees from Twinsburg FD.  Posted 9/18/08.

  • To Dispose of Mercury Thermometers here are your options.

    1. Household hazardous waste facility (Graham Rd & Rt 8) opens up in April - they will take mercury thermometers.

    2. Contact Bruce Miller - OEPA Twinsburg (330-425-9171) - they will schedule a time to pick up unbroken mercury thermometers.  Added 3/30/05
